Construction Project Update
Welcome everyone to the latest update on our construction project! Here’s a comprehensive overview of the current progress:
1. Parking Area Preparation: The work in the rear of the building is still in progress as we prepare the area for our parking lot. Despite some challenges, our team is making steady headway.
2. Exterior Walls: We have some exciting news to share! The masonry contractor has successfully completed the construction of the exterior walls on the east side of the building. This milestone represents a significant step forward in the project, bringing us closer to our vision. Bring on our windows!!!
3. Electrical Conduit Installation: At the front of the building, our dedicated electrical contractor is hard at work. They are currently busy placing conduits for the secondary lines. This crucial step ensures that we have a reliable electrical system in place. Our aim is to achieve full power capability by the end of this month.
4. Steel Erection: On the western side of the construction site, the steel erection process is ongoing. Our skilled team is meticulously assembling the structural steel components, shaping the building’s framework. The metal decking /roof/ essential for further progress, is expected to arrive next week.
Tasks to Be Completed:
Among the upcoming tasks, we have two key milestones to look forward to:
1. Pouring of Slab on Grade: The pouring of the slab on the ground floor is on schedule and will soon take place. This process involves carefully pouring and leveling the concrete foundation, providing a sturdy base for the entire structure.
2. Pouring of Topping on the 2nd Floor (West): Additionally, we are gearing up for pouring the topping on the second floor on the west side of the building. This process involves applying a concrete layer on top of the structural slab, creating a smooth and even surface.
