Project Update: Roofing and Interior Progress
As we approach the start of next week, we are excited to report that our roofer is scheduled to begin loading our roof on Monday. This crucial step will include the installation of a metal deck over our gym, as well as in the south/east corner section of the building. by Linesteel This will not only enhance the structural integrity of the roof but also ensure that it meets all safety and design standards.
In conjunction with the roofing work, we are also making significant strides in the installation of our brick shelf angels, which is currently underway above the windows. This aesthetic feature will not only provide visual appeal but also contribute to the overall durability of the building’s façade. To further secure the exterior, we will be installing a blue skin membrane transition around all exterior windows and door frames. This step is essential for enhancing the weather resistance of our structure and will be followed by the application of the air vapor barrier. Once these installations are completed, we anticipate that our building will be fully watertight, safeguarding it against any potential water infiltration.
Inside, the activity is in full swing with our intrerior as contractors diligently working on several key aspects of the project. We are currently seeing the installation of copper and sprinkler piping, which is crucial for maintaining our building’s safety and functionality. Simultaneously, our masonry contractor is busy constructing the walls, defining the interior layout and space functionality.
We are pleased to report that these efforts are progressing well, and we are thrilled to welcome our painters to the site. Their work will soon give our interiors the final touch that reflects our overall vision. As these teams work hand in hand, we are optimistic about keeping our project timeline on track and achieving a beautiful, functional space for all.
