The recent site meeting has set clear objectives as we aim for occupancy on January 1 or shortly thereafter. A crucial component of our timeline is the scheduled arrival of our asphalt paving contractor, Lakeside, on Monday. To ensure this work proceeds without interruption, it is imperative that all masonry equipment and materials are cleared from the site as soon as possible.
Following Lakeside’s work, we anticipate having a landscape contractor on-site within the next two weeks. Our goal is to plant as many trees as possible before winter sets in, so significant up-filling will be necessary. This will allow our landscape contractor to fulfill their duties while simultaneously enabling our electrical contractor to complete the installation of the lighting bases for the parking lot.
Inside the building, progress is being made swiftly. Our flooring contractor has almost completed the installation of ceramic tiles in the second-floor hallways. Additionally, the flooring contractor responsible for the classrooms will commence work on Monday, ensuring that we remain on track.
Millwork will also play a pivotal role in the upcoming weeks, with materials scheduled to arrive next week. Furthermore, lockers and smart boards are slated for delivery within the next two weeks, marking significant milestones in our project timeline.
As we move forward, we must also direct our focus toward the childcare area and integrate our various trades to ensure a seamless workflow. Over the next two weeks, we expect a flurry of activity around the site.
