Project Update on Cafeteria Construction
Exciting progress is being made on the cafeteria area as we eagerly await the installation of the Kalwall panels. Their arrival signals a significant step towards achieving a watertight structure. The Lakeside team is diligently working on the exterior, focusing on preparing the sub-grade to accept the asphalt, along with initiating the sidewalk and curb installation.
We’re on the brink of a new phase, as the installation of the brick veneer is scheduled to begin shortly, complemented by the interior painting that will bring our vision to life. The mechanical room’s roof has now been secured and is officially watertight, ensuring that the building’s interior remains dry during the ongoing construction.
As we move forward, it’s worth noting that all finishing trades are lined up and will be onsite very soon. This includes flooring, millwork and painting, each playing a critical role in bringing the project to completion. The atmosphere on site is one of enthusiasm and focus, as each team member contributes their expertise to ensure the project’s success.
