The timely arrival of mechanical equipment is essential and must be secured by Tuesday at the latest. This is a pivotal moment, as following the installation, our metal deck will be laid down. Once that is complete, it will allow our roofer to effectively water-tight our mechanical room, a critical task to prevent water penetration during adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow. Currently, this opening poses a significant risk to our building’s integrity, making the swift execution of this task a top priority.

In addition to the mechanical room, other important tasks also require immediate attention. The topping on the 3rd floor North must be applied as soon as possible to keep the project on schedule. Furthermore, we need to address the masonry nib walls and install a concrete base for lockers in that area. This effort will enhance not only the functionality but also the safety and durability of our structures.

On the exterior, we are making progress with the masonry block installation, which is now ready for the application of blue skin transitions from the windows to the block. This transition is essential, as it will be followed by the spraying of the air vapor barrier, ensuring that we maintain a controlled environment.

As for the parapet walls over the gym, they are nearing completion, and our roofer is poised to begin work as soon as the weather permits. Thankfully, the forecast indicates that temperatures will rise in the middle of next week. With these improvements on the horizon, our pace is set to quicken.
