As we step into the new year 2026, progress on our project continues to gain momentum. Our roofing contractor is primed and ready to begin, having successfully installed safety rails to ensure a secure working environment. The kettle is on site, signaling that we are prepared to make significant strides in the coming days.
One of our immediate needs is the installation of metal deck over the gym and specific areas on the south side. This step is critical to progressing further, as the metal deck will provide the necessary structure for our roofing system. Most windows have already been installed, and with the roof soon to be added, we anticipate that we will achieve watertight conditions in several areas of the building.
In addition, our painting team is scheduled to come on board shortly, marking the beginning of our finishing trades’ involvement in the project. Critical tasks such as building nib walls and forming concrete bases for lockers will also be getting underway. The collaborative efforts of these teams will pave the way for the completion of the interior, creating vibrant spaces for future occupants.
