As we approach the final stages of our project, various tasks are coming to fruition. Our flooring contractor has been diligently preparing the classrooms for the installation of the finished flooring, ensuring that every detail is attended to. Meanwhile, our millworker contractor has successfully placed the millwork in the hallways, and they are set to follow closely behind the flooring team to maintain our timeline.
Classroom doors are being hung efficiently, and we are pleased to report that the locker base is ready for the installation of lockers, which will enhance the functionality of the space. A critical point to note is that all work above the ceilings must be completed soon since ceiling tiles are already on site and ready for placement. This requires immediate attention to ensure we do not face delays.
One pressing concern is the status of the windows from Aerloc. As we aim to close up the structure, timely delivery and installation of the windows are crucial. The exterior has prepared for sidewalk and curb installation, along with asphalt work. It is essential to complete these tasks before winter, as any delay could incur additional costs for winter heating.
With November’s chill fast approaching, we are striving for a January 1st completion date. Meeting this goal is paramount, and we are urging all contractors to maintain momentum and coordination as we finalize the interior and exterior elements of this project.
