In the current construction project, the masonry contractor is currently working on the 4th floor east. However, there seems to be a delay in the arrival of the steel lintels. As a contingency plan, the decision has been made to build concrete bond beams instead of using steel if the lintels do not arrive in time. Hopefully, the steel lintels will be delivered before the need for concrete beams arises.
Meanwhile, the general contractor is making preparations on the 2nd floor west to receive the topping. The first pouring of concrete is scheduled for Friday, with the remaining areas set to be completed next week. Additionally, the pouring of the concrete slab on the ground level is also scheduled for this month, specifically in October.

Simultaneously, the structural steel contractor is busy erecting columns and placing roof joists on the west side. Once this task is completed, it will enable the installation of the metal deck. It seems that October will prove to be a very busy month with numerous construction activities taking place.
Overall, it is important to ensure that all the necessary materials, especially the steel lintels, are delivered on time to avoid a reliance on concrete bond beams. The coordination among different contractors is crucial in successfully completing the project within the given timeframe.
