As the construction progress continues on the St. Kateri Tekakwitha building, we are thrilled to report that things are moving right along! The Load Bearing masonry walls are ongoing, and we are pushing for Slab on Grade-East to be completed by the end of this month. We have many trades onsite today including masonry, mechanical, electrical, and site service. Safety is our top priority, so we require all workers to wear high visibility vests. We are happy to report that the mechanical and electrical undergrounds are proceeding well, and the Galvanized steel beams for windows-east have already been delivered and will be in place very soon.
We want to give a special shoutout to Kiki from Linesteel, who is working hard and has become our main player. Go Kiki GO! It’s great to see all the trades working together, and we know that this cooperation is responsible for the significant progress that we’ve seen. Our long term focus is to be at roof level before January 2024, and we are confident that with the hard work and dedication of all involved, we will achieve this goal.
We are excited about the progress that has been made thus far and look forward to sharing more updates with you as construction continues. In the meantime, enjoy the video below, which highlights our progress as of today.
