We are currently making significant progress on the construction project, specifically focusing on the 3rd floor east. Our aim is to complete the installation of the precast 4th floor east during the first week of September, paving the way for the subsequent installation of open steel web joists for the roof, which is tentatively scheduled for the first week of October. Excitingly, the precast west is expected to arrive tomorrow, bringing in a substantial workload for our diligent masonry contractor, Brownstone Masonry.

At present, our precast contractor, Stubbes, is actively working on-site, coring holes to facilitate the seamless integration of the mechanical and electrical systems, which will be handled by our competent contractors, LJ Barton and Elite Electrical, respectively. Their collaboration is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient installation process.

Meanwhile, our dedicated steel contractor, Linesteel, is keeping up with the demanding workload, ensuring the project progresses steadily. However, we are currently facing some challenges concerning the development of the parking area at the rear of our property. The pace of construction in that area has been slower than expected, and in some cases, it has come to a halt. To address this, we are mobilizing our earthworks contractor to expedite the process and initiate work on the parking area.

With the approaching winter, we are prioritizing the completion of essential infrastructure such as the sidewalk, curb, and base asphalt. This way, we can ensure the safety and functionality of the area before the harsh weather sets in. We are determined to meet this goal and are eagerly embracing the saying, “pitter patter lets get at er.”

Throughout this intensive construction period, we would like to commend our exceptional general contractor, TRP Construction, for their consistent leadership and management. Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to all contractors, including LJ Barton, Elite Electrical, Stubbes, Brownstone Masonry, and Linesteel, for their outstanding dedication and professionalism. Their combined efforts are instrumental in the success of this project.
