N E Oakville H S – Transforming Our School: Construction Updates
- The construction of the school is progressing rapidly, transforming it into a functional environment.
Work is progressing rapidly as we begin to transform into a functional school environment. The exterior of our building is taking shape, with the transitions around the windows nearing completion. To ensure the windows remain protected during ongoing construction, plastic coverings are currently in place. We are on schedule for the application of the Air Vapour Barrier, which will be followed by the installation of the brick veneer. This step is crucial for providing both insulation and an aesthetically pleasing finish to the building’s exterior.
In addition, Lakeside is actively preparing the front of our building for asphalt installation. This enhancement will create better accessibility to the school, making it easier for students, parents, and staff to enter and exit the premises safely and efficiently.
As these tasks are completed, we are excited about the progress being made and look forward to the next stages of construction. Each development brings us closer to creating not just a building, but a welcoming community space for learning and growth. The future looks bright as we remain committed to delivering a high-quality educational environment for students.
