Great news! The construction project is progressing smoothly and according to plan. The precast has been successfully placed on the 4th floor East, and the Masonry Contractor is actively working on building the walls on the west side. In addition, the Steel Contractor is scheduled to start erecting the steel by the end of this week.
The construction team is fortunate to have favorable weather conditions on their side. The weather forecast for October predicts warm and dry weather, which will greatly aid in expediting the construction progress. This means that the team can work efficiently and make significant strides towards completing the project.

With the goal of being watertight before Christmas, the team is working diligently to ensure a timely completion. One of the important steps in achieving this is the application of the exterior AVB, or air vapour barrier. This protective layer will enhance the building’s durability and minimize any potential water damage. The team is motivated and committed to meeting this milestone.
To maintain a smooth workflow, it is expected that the finishing trades will hit the ground running. Their timely involvement will play a crucial role in keeping the construction process on track. Other tasks that need to be completed include finishing up the topping and working on the Slab on Grade.

Looking ahead, the team is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the windows, which is scheduled for the end of October or the beginning of November. This significant step will further enhance the project’s progress and bring it closer to completion. Additionally, the installation of the exterior Z Girts is also in the pipeline, which will further enhance the building’s structural integrity.
Overall, the construction progress is on track and proceeding at a commendable pace. The combination of favorable weather conditions, the team’s commitment, and the coordination of various trades bode well for the successful completion of the project. As the construction progresses, the team remains focused and motivated, with the shared goal of delivering a high-quality finished product.
Our goal is to be watertight before Christmas!!!
